CURTAIN CALL!
What: Curtain Call is an 8-week drama workshop aimed at middle school students. We talk critically about theater fundamentals and practice all kinds of theater games. In the final few sessions, students produce an improv show for their parents to show off everything they’ve learned. We hope you join us!
When & Where: Sessions are held on Sunday from 3pm - 5pm in Dwight Hall, located on High Street. Classes will start February 9th.
Who: All kids in grades 6-8. The class is offered free of charge to all charge to all families who live in and around New Haven (although we welcome donations!).
How to Apply: Apply here. If you want to receive updates regarding application dates and deadlines, email i.love.yct@gmail.com to be added to our mailing list. Please note that although we would love nothing more than to accept every child who applies, we have a limited number of teachers and volunteers and so must limit class size. Unfortunately, we often have many more applicants than there are spaces in the class. As we give priority to students who have not participated in Curtain Call before, especially those students who have previously applied, we encourage you to keep trying if we're unable to accept your child for the upcoming session. We offer fall and spring sessions every year, and there are workshops for students in grades K–8. For more information, click the Programs tab above.
