Performances
Our Productions
We produce four original plays per year, written, directed, and performed by Yale Children’s Theater members for our workshops and the Greater New Haven community. We perform in Yale College theaters, in schools and classrooms, and at special events.
Our Read-Alouds
Our actors visit schools to bring classic children’s books to life. These read-alouds let us cultivate a love for reading and excitement for the dramatic arts in younger grade levels. Our favorite books to improv include Caps for Sale by Esphyr Slobodkina and Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson.
