Our Spring 2024 Weekly Workshops…
Hands On (K-2nd)
Introduce your little ones to the world of creative play and performing arts! Hands On workshop leaders will guide your children through exercises that emphasize the fundamentals of the exciting world of theatre!
Improvaganza (6th-10th) - NEW!
Does your child want to take a deep dive into the exciting world of improv? Through improv acting games and a focus on storytelling through performance, workshop leaders will lead your students through having fun while thinking on their feet!
Off Book (3rd-5th)
Through character games, acting and movement exercises, and a unique play designed for and by the workshop participants, "Off Book" is a great fit for children ready to act and snack!
Encore! (7th-12th)- NEW!
Does your student love to act in the spotlight? If so, the Encore! Workshop is for them! This semester, the Encore! Workshop will be performing an original comedy. From table work focusing on understanding Shakespeare to a final performance on a Yale stage, Encore! will give your student a well-rounded understanding of theatrical productions.
YCT WORDSMITHS - NEW!
Is your child more of a storyteller than an actor? A storyteller AND an actor? In this workshop, they can write their own short story, play, or comic with YCT and goof off along the way. Writing ability is the only requirement. At the end of the workshop, they will have a chance to do a dramatic reading for friends and family, or have a Yale actor do one for them!
